Lau Gar Kung Fu has proven through many century's to be a most effective form of martial art. Originating from Southern China this style concentrates on breathing techniques, body conditioning and mental and physical awarenesss, whilst teaching you the ancient art of traditional fighting techniques, weaponry and how to successfully defend yourseelf in the most impossible situations.

Lau Gar Kung Fu has reapeatedly achieved World Championship status in Semi and Full Contact open competitions year after year. Beeston Lau Gar is one of many clubs scattered throughout the country. The main centre is situated in Birmingham where Master Yau resides as Head of Lau Gar Kung Fu in the UK. Master Yau is also head of the British Kung Fu Association (BKFA). Each club is professionally affiliated to the BKFA, BCCMA, IAKSA, BKFC and recognised by the Sports Council!
